We are Don and Jean Hills, the husband-and-wife music duo behind 2 Hearts Content. For the past 20 years, we have resided in Orillia, ON. Settling down in this city has never stopped us from traveling the country to perform at events and captivate audiences with our sound. Two Talented Musicians Joining Forces

Hailing from Fredericton, NB, Jean is the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of 2 Hearts Content. She also plays harmonica. Her country musician journey includes performing at events and establishments in the Richmond Hill, ON, area.
Don is the talented instrumentalist and harmony vocals of 2 Hearts Content. He plays electric and acoustic guitar, dobro, mandolin, and harmonica. Originally from Sherbrooke, QC, he has performed across Newfoundland and Labrador, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and the United States in Massachusetts, Vermont, and New Hampshire.

Our Penchant for Live Musical Performances

We have showcased our talents at numerous events, including Orillia’s Canada Day celebrations, local mall promotions, fall fairs, Legion functions, and more. 2 Hearts Content has also performed at restaurants, retirement homes, and hotels in the Orillia and Muskoka areas. We have even written and recorded promotional material for a local marina.

Hors D'Ouevres: A Product of Love

Bringing our different backgrounds and experiences as country musicians together, we are proud to create Hors D’Ouevres. This CD aims to reflect our life’s experiences and perspectives. It features 10 original songs recorded and produced at Maple Leaf Studios in Elmvale, ON, by Jamie Williams. One standout track, “Mama’s Silver Cookie Tray,” has even won a Certificate of Achievement in the UNISONG Contest out of over 3,500 entries from 40 countries. The song has also been performed at iconic venues like the Bluebird Cafe and Hardrock Cafe in Nashville, TN.
